Telara Pharma is a company focused and committed to the improvement of kidney disease and its core business is the development of a new therapeutic strategy for the treatment of toxin-induced acute kidney injury, sepsis and sepsis-induced acute renal failure.

What have you carried out with GENESIS Biomed?
GENESIS Biomed has helped us from the beginning as it actively participated in the creation of Telara Pharma as a company and since then in all the management of the company acting as interim CEO. Among other achievements, in the short time of the company’s life, it has helped us to obtain a product license agreement with a Canadian company with which we work together and to obtain public funding by obtaining the NEOTEC project in 2022, which will allow Telara to continue to grow and face new future challenges.

What is the main activity of your company?
At Aortyx we develop biodegradable vascular implants that integrate into the aorta to heal it from the inside, respecting its biomechanical properties.

What have you carried out with GENESIS Biomed?
With GENESIS Biomed we developed our first full business plan, and it helped us a lot to negotiate the conditions for the transfer of our patents.

What is the main activity of your company?
At Renalyse we are dedicated to developing different medical devices for home use to promote the use of telemedicine in chronic patients.

What have you carried out with GENESIS Biomed?
We have collaborated with GENESIS Biomed in the development of our strategic business plan, regulatory plan and fundraising objectives. We have jointly developed and validated different strategies by combining our technical knowledge of our product and the business knowledge provided by GENESIS Biomed.

What is the main activity of your company?
Design, development, manufacturing and marketing of robotic exoskeletons to improve the mobility and independence of people with disabilities.

What have you carried out with GENESIS Biomed?
A 3-year EIT Health Innovation project aimed to develop, clinically validate, and bring to market the ABLE exoskeleton. It was a project led by GENESIS Biomed, in collaboration with 7 other European partners: the Heidelberg University Hospital, the Guttmann Institute, the universities UPC and UB, the technology centre Eurecat, the association Madopa, and the start-up ABLE Human Motion.

What has it been like working with us?
The GENESIS Biomed team has extensive experience coordinating European projects, managing the activities and deliverables of the different members of the consortium, taking charge of project management with the funding body, solving any problems that may arise and leading the preparation of technical and economic justifications. In addition, they have led the business activities, exploring new business models and improving the market access strategy. It has been a very positive experience!
