Este galard\u00f3n ha sido otorgado por La Fondation de l&#8217;Avenir que tiene como objetivo apoyar y promover la investigaci\u00f3n y la innovaci\u00f3n en salud.<\/p>\n<p>Limno Pharma es una empresa biotecnol\u00f3gica que desarrolla f\u00e1rmacos para el tratamiento de enfermedades oculares, inicialmente la degeneraci\u00f3n macular asociada a la edad y la retinosis pigmentaria. El origen de Limnopharma es la investigaci\u00f3n llevada a cabo por los doctores Juan Carlos Morales S\u00e1nchez<br \/>\n(CSIC) y Francisco D\u00edaz Corrales (CABIMER, Junta de Andaluc\u00eda).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"noticia\">\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Limno Pharma, a spin-off company of CSIC and CABIMER, has received the Avenir Matmut award for the best European startup at the EIT Health Summit event in Paris on December 2. This prize is awarded by La Fondation de l&#8217;Avenir that aims to support and promote research and innovation in health.<\/p>\n<p>Limno Pharma is a biotechnology company that develops drugs for the treatment of eye diseases, initially age-related macular degeneration and retinitis pigmentosa.
